Doguet's Diamond D Scholarship Program


Open to any college student pursuing a two- or four-year degree in any major, who purchases and exhibits a qualified animal from Doguet Diamond D Ranch and maintains a minimum 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Students must qualify every semester they are eligible for the scholarship program.

A qualified animal is defined as a Brangus bull or heifer purchased from Doguet Diamond D ranch during the period from January 1, 2016 thru December 31, 2016 and transferred directly to the student. Animals purchased from Doguet cooperators or consigners are not eligible for scholarship awards.

Major Junior Livestock Shows

Southwestern Livestock Exposition
San Antonio Livestock Show

Houston Junior Brangus Heifer Show

Award Amounts

Champion: $500
Reserve Champion: $250
Class Winner: $100

IBBA National & Major Junior Shows
Champion: $250
Reserve Champion: $150
Class Winner: $100

Maximum payout per person is $1,500 per semester and shall be paid by Doguet's Diamond D Ranch

To Claim Awards:

Students must provide the ranch office a copy of their college acceptance letter, a class schedule, passing mid-term or end of semester grades, a completed Doguet Scholarship Claim form, along with a backdrop photo of the winning animal. Scholarship awards must be claimed within one year of eligible show win.
